The shape of these lures is as innovative as it is ingenious. Instead of the blade, which as we well know causes harmful friction during the launch phase, the Waxwing is equipped with two "fins", an upper and a lower one, mounted near the head, which give it aerodynamics in flight and at the same time a whole series of movements typical of lures with a paddle. In addition to this, the particular arrangement of the fins allows this artificial WTD type movements to be performed both on the surface and in the very first layers of water.
