First: in your hands it offers an extraordinary sensation, which goes beyond the cold numbers on the scale. Second: weight means nothing if it is not associated with strength, resistance, the ability to grind line even during a strong pull. When fishing, the Zero develops a unique mix of power and sensitivity; the first does not need explanations, the second inscribes the reel in the rod-line combination as a vital protagonist, because it conveys information to the user's hand, while the absence of the anti-return accentuates it. The irreplaceable protagonists of all this are the body and rotor of the reel, created in carbon with a very high elastic modulus, a material that offers the same rigidity as aluminium, at 50% of the weight. In a very rigid body, the rotating elements work without constraints, because the structure that houses them does not deform under load. Crank and control wheel work in close relationship to eliminate play and power dispersion.
