Thanks to the very high technology in extrusion, the use of the best raw materials available and a considerable economic effort to support research and development, P-Line was able to create the latest generation of fluorocarbon monofilaments, called co-fluoride, going beyond all fishermen's expectations. Unlike a normal fluorocarbon, a co-fluoride is composed of a “mixture” of different types of pure fluorocarbon crystals. Knowing that the various crystals have different characteristics from each other, it was possible to "mix" them in order to obtain the best possible combination, giving Halo linear strength and knot strength, very low mechanical memory and, thanks to the homogeneity of the its surface, a great smoothness in casting. Since Halo is 100% fluorocarbon, it does not absorb water, it has a very low refractive index of light, a detail which makes it invisible in water, it has a much higher specific weight than traditional threads, which means it can sink much more quickly, very low elasticity and resistance to UV rays. Halo is produced with a new translucent mist green color, excellent for fishing in lakes, rivers and salt waters.
